Salmon dashi on at Higgins

Easily my favorite preparation of salmon in the city. Light poached filet in a homemade dashi broth presumably with snap peas or some such. Only shows up twice a year for a handful of days. Starts Friday. That is likely dinner everyday this weekend. Looking forward to it immensely.

  1. Thanks for the heads up - I missed it last year. Is it only offered this weekend? My first opportunity to go would be this Tuesday..

    1. It is just until they run out of the broth he makes. Probably Sunday is it. A little spicier version this year. Quality of the fish was amazing.
