Where to Torpedo Soup in Petaling Jaya or Kuala Lumpur?

  1. KL/PJ does not have an iconic spot for sop torpedo, unlike Penang where Hameed's on Penang Rd had held sway for decades.

I'd not heard or seen of any long-standing places in KL/PJ since most Malay warongs are pretty itinerant. Try this spot, or else go to Chow Kit area & check out the row of eateries near the wet market. Good luck!

    1. You're in luck, ZakiZakaria9 - today's newspapers in KL featured 'Sup Haji Abu Bakar' stall on Jalan Doraisamy which offers your Torpedo Soup.

Jalan Doraisamy is in downtown KL, right next to Sheraton Imperial Hotel - you won't miss it.

It's best accessed by KL Monorail - Bukit Nanas station.

      1. Yes, Sup Hameed is still the best for their 'sup kotek lembu'.
