Where to Torpedo Soup in Petaling Jaya or Kuala Lumpur?

    KL/PJ does not have an iconic spot for sop torpedo, unlike Penang where Hameed's on Penang Rd had held sway for decades.

    I'd not heard or seen of any long-standing places in KL/PJ since most Malay warongs are pretty itinerant. Try this spot, or else go to Chow Kit area & check out the row of eateries near the wet market. Good luck!

      You're in luck, ZakiZakaria9 - today's newspapers in KL featured 'Sup Haji Abu Bakar' stall on Jalan Doraisamy which offers your Torpedo Soup.

      Jalan Doraisamy is in downtown KL, right next to Sheraton Imperial Hotel - you won't miss it.

          It's best accessed by KL Monorail - Bukit Nanas station.

        Yes, Sup Hameed is still the best for their 'sup kotek lembu'.
