Brunch at Rancho Valencia or Sea & Smoke?

Trying to decide the best place to brunch this weekend... Would you goto Rancho Valencia or Sea & Smoke? havent been to either.
Rancho Valencia very recently lost their top two chefs and I am not sure if they were replaced yet, so going now might have the risk of experience a kitchen during a transition period without anybody experienced running it
I think it depends on how decadent your mood is. Rancho Valencia is quiet, relaxing and I'm sure the kitchen is still cranking out the food introduced by those chefs (best quiche I have ever eaten in this town).
I like S&S very much, but not my idea of a relaxing brunch. The parking at that center is a nightmare on weekends (remember S&S is steps away from Milton's (yuck, but super busy) and the new whole foods. Chef Matt has really upped the "over-the-top" factor on the homemade cinnamon rolls, which is way too much for me (just not my style).
RV is more sedate..there is people watching but not like Camino del Mar..
Have not been to Sea and Smoke but gets lots of love on the board.
Kitchen 1540 at L'Auberge hotel in Del Mar would be a good choice too.
