Tuck'D Away? [Tuckahoe]

Tuck'D Away in Tuckahoe, just opened. Has anyone been there yet?

Any opinions on the food? Is it mostly bar or mostly restaurant?

90 Yonkers Avenue. An ad for it was in last weekend's store flyers.

I always toss the store flyers, so I didn't notice it.

I see that it was where the Thai restaurant was. It was the road that was closed for a couple of years, which killed that business. I hope this does well.

I think it was in one of those ad magazines, maybe the "Essentials" one. I always skim through that one for restaurant ads before tossing.

I read somewhere that they had a "chocolatier." That is intriguing.

    2. Tucked away is right! That stretch is horrible for business. Almost no parking or foot traffic.

      1. No website, just a facebook page. No menu. Looks kind of bare.

There is a website with a menu:

The space looks like someone's finished basement.

        2. I enjoyed the food, really tasty simple stuff. Dinner time is more chill, can get rowdy after hours. Has a couple lounge areas with couches and stuff. Reasonably priced. Drinks were good. Am going back this week to try other menu offerings. You can park at the lot across from the train station.

          1. I was in in a number of times when it was a Thai restaurant. It was fine inside and the food was good.

Unfortunately, the drain/road work killed it and it just re-opened.

I looked on Yelp and the reviews are wildly inconsistent, 5's and 1's.
