Wolf & Subzero

Can someone please suggest where to buy Wolf and Subzero appliances? We are getting a good deal at Tasco - but are in a dilemma after reading negative reviews on customer service.

  1. We ended up buying from Best Brand Appliances

I found the people at Tasco to be dicks.

They only hire people with the first name of Richard?

Well there are some other stores where everyone is "Moe"

I agree. All we are trying to find is a decent dealer that we can go with.

We went there.. They don't sell the appliances.. It's Maroline's showroom.. All the dealers in Canada get subs and wolf appliances from this importer.

Ha - no. I just found the sales guys at Tasco to be pushy. Best Brand seemed a lot friendlier and had more options and better pricing. This was like 6 years ago though.

During delivery our range was dented and they took care of it.

Are you satisfied with their customer service? Coz Everyone shows a rosy picture during the sale process. And, did they negotiate the price? Thanks for your help.

Call Calplans and ask for Saverio (Sam) specifically. He's one of those non-pressure sales guys that allows you to set the pace. I'm particularly sensitive to aggressive salespersons, but Sam doesn't bother me in the least. Service and follow up have all been relatively painless.

          1. I bought appliances at Caplan's, was a good experience. The website shows they sell wolf/subzero, but I purchased other brands...

They have a few locations across the GTA.

            2. We bought ours from Appliance Canada. They were fine.

              1. Trust me - avoid Tasco. Everything is wonderful, until delivery then they wash their hands of you. And try reaching your friendly salesperson after that. It is virtually impossible to get through to them.

I know, I've been through it.

I think they have the worst rating I've ever seen on Homestars for a company with an good amount of reviews (5.x stars/150ish ratings). Seems to be a pretty consistent poor experience.
