Pizza in Tokyo

Does anyone happen to know where the master from Savoy has gone? A few years ago Savoy had excellent pizzas but a recent visit was a huge disappointment, in particular the base, which was massively overseasoned.

Any other recommendations would be gratefully received.

  1. Was it no longer the young guy who would do a little dance when throwing salt on the baking pizzas in that clunky oven of theirs?

Eifukucho? That's outside the Yamanote line...

Yeah, and quite a bit east of the Mason-Dixon line.

            I thought the Mason-Dixon line ran East-West.

Yep, 12 minutes from Shibuya - that's pretty much out in the styx, right? ;)

It's past the Styx, it's well into Hades.

I shall dare to venture past hades once more. I was in Eifukucho just a few days ago, although I was blissfully unaware that a pizza war was being waged.

          1. A link has just been posted for Massimottavio, so here is La Piccola's:

Vento e Mare, in Musashi-Koyama, may have gotten a Bib Gourmand, but I prefer nearby La Rossa.
