    Hmmm...tough one.

Well, this isn't related to the Year of the Dragon (I don't have a clue when it comes to those things), but how about using the occasion to check out the new Tidal at Paradise Point?

OK, soooo...GJ, tell us...where did you end up? Did you have a great time and great food?

        Hello DoctorChow,

Thank you for your kind inquiry!

We were going to go north of the border, but my presents didn't arrive at the UPS store on Saturday.

The original plans included: FoF sandwich for breakfast at McDonald's on Palm Ave. with the Filipino social club gathering there. Lunch at Pho Hiep Grill in Chula Vista with their delicious spring rolls and bun.

Dinner was supposed to be to-go sushi from Meijo in Imperial Beach (tthey use beautifully decorated hard plastic trays for their take out - I save and reuse them).

Since those plans went "gang aglay" and since I am a "fire sign", we ended up at Tapanco Steak House in Rosarito, where everything is cooked over a mesquite wood fire (rack of lamb, rare - Yumm!) and the guacamole is prepared tableside in a molcajete where you pick the additions.
