Source of hazelnuts?

Hi --

I have a recipe for a cake that requires a substantial quantity of hazelnuts. Does anybody know of a place where I could buy a large bag of shelled nuts, preferably without emptying my bank account?

And if I can't find the hazelnuts, would it be worth trying the recipe with some other nut?
