Malacca, Malaysia - Chicken rice balls from Famosa

Malacca is the only city in Malaysia where cooked Hainanese-style chicken rice are pulverised and formed into compact tennis-sized balls, to be served with satiny-smooth poached chicken, lightly-flavoured soysauce, sesame oil and chicken stock, with thick dark soysauce, minced ginger and chilli sauce dips.
One of the more popular outlets in Malacca is Famosa on 28-30 Jalan Hang Kasturi, off Jonker Street.

The best-tasting I had here was their Nyonya otak-otak - a steamed spicy fish cake that provides a nice chilli punch to the meal.
