Where should we go? We would like to bring some back from our trip so our friends can try an authentic bagel. Thanks!

Is this location still open? I can't find it online.

Yes. Google maps has it as "Stix", their old name.

Ttrockwood may have read my response too quick. Sounds the same but Ess-a-bagel is a actually a different place, and not very close (3rd ave.)

I agree with the ees-a-bagel recommendation.

Best to travel with packed in the paper bag and then a ziplock plastic bag, be sure they are room temp and not warm first. Flavors with toppings like onion or everything do not travel well.

Also note they will deliver to your hotel, no delivery charge but its customary to tip the delivery guy.

Everything, garlic or onion bagels stunk up my luggage once, so either pack it air tight or choose other flavors.

Not necessarily immediately next to The London, and not necessarily a traditional NYC bagel, but the ones at Milk N Honey are pretty good.
