Marzipan rugelach - in NYC?

Hanale Apr 9, 2014 06:21 PM

Does anyone know whether the rugelach from Marzipan Bakery in Jerusalem are sold anywhere in NYC or can be delivered here? I have a memory from a few years ago that they'd be sold in Brooklyn, but maybe that memory is really wishful thinking in disguise....

I'm trying to get them for early May. Thanks for your help!

        Thanks Tamar!

I'd found this article where Itzik Ozarko, the owner of Marzipan Bakery, mentioned that they ship frozen rugelach internationally, but the website the article gave for the bakery didn't work when I tried it, probably because they don't do that anymore.

Correct, that's the one. Guess they didn't get enough business to keep the operation intact.

Though I've been to Marzipan Bakery, and their rugelach is great, my initial hope when opening this thread was some fantasmic mashup of marzipan and rugelach dough.
