Cookie dough for ice cream cones

I saw on Pinterest (from dudefoods.com) a cone made of a large chocolate chip cookie. He used store-bought dough and rolled it into a cone shape while it was still warm. I totally want to try this, but I'm not sure how my usual choc chip cookie dough recipe would hold up to being rolled. Does anyone have a recipe they have done this with? Or ideas how to make a recipe more "elastic" or malleable? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

  1. I've put chocolate chip cookie dough in a panini press and they turn our flat (and perfect--crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside). I'll bet that would roll well. I use the Jacquest Torres's NY Times one, from the refrigerator. The key is to make sure the press doesn't smash it completely flat but lightly presses it.
