  1. There are only 2, and I find them pretty equal.

    1. I love both the Glendale and Burbank (Downey is way far for me so I've never trued it!) but I find the Burbank one tends to have a better selection of breads.

This would be in accord with my general sense that Glendale seems to have more sweets..

      2. Both are equal, including their downsides; poor parking and long lines.

        1. I used to go to Downey -- really long drive from W.L.A. Now I hit Burbank after golf in Griffith Park.

I get potato balls and chicken croquettes to heat in the oven and serve with meat. And I get strawberry-cheese croissants, pineapple-cheese danish, and other sweets to heat for breakfast or treats. The cheese-spinach danish makes a good snack dusted with parmesan and reheated.

Burbank is better. Glendale doesnt stock all that Burbank does such as the walnut raisin rolls. I can't understand how Glendale could have more sweets when they have less space.

          2. There are 3 locations, not 2. I prefer Burbank over Glendale, but I've never been to the Downey one. Lines seem to move faster at Burbank, and I think the desserts are better. But, I did post a thread a few weeks ago saying it seems they've changed their potato ball and ham croquette recipes as they were different this last time. Not sure if it was only this location or across the board.

What did you think was different about their potato balls?
