Dishwasher Advice for office - Bosch or Miele
Last year, our office bought a bottom of the line Ascenta Bosch dishwasher, which is failing after a year.
At home, I have a Bosch 500 series, and have no problems.
Any advice on what dishwasher to buy?
Needs: Stainless steel interior, express cycle, good at drying, very clear indication when the dishwasher is running.
Nice to have: hard food dispenser.
It's run 3-4 times per day, never with pots and pans or heavily soiled items. Coffee cups, soup bowls etc. For the most part, nothing is in there long enough to get food firmly stuck.
Right now, I'm looking at Miele Crystal and Bosch SHP65T55UC.
Any advice appreciated!
I've owned Miele and Bosch, both were at the high end of the available lines, and will state categorically that you want a Bosch. Miele takes longer to dry, IME. And with the loads being run, you'll be dealing with wet dishes if you go Miele.
Unless Miele offers a heated dry cycle, in which case that's the one you want.
Kitchenaid or Maytag. Quiet, reliable, moderately priced. Both offer top of the line zooty models if spending lots of $$ is a requirement. Side benefit: everyone carries parts for'em
