  1. That's it?
What kind of salmon is it?
"Today we have for you over cooked dry salmon served with boiled diced carrots with a piece of raw kale, a wedge of lemon and a thin slice of orange as a garnish. Please enjoy".

My thoughts as well, way over done, too bad because the size of the fillet looks great.

      1. re: Puffin3

        The carrots are garnish o.0
It came with choice of potato or vegetable, in monkey dish

      2. Salmon sadness.

as I sat and watched... I kept telling myself that there has Got to be something else to do other than sit and watch her eat that salmon. nope. there was nothing I could do. I sat and watched her eat that salmon.

            1. re: Gastronomos

It must have been very painful to watch someone choke that down. What did she wash it down with, sawdust? Please tell me that the carrots weren't from a can or frozen.

              1. re: treb

I can only guess that the carrots were boiled from fresh, not frozen or canned.

                1. re: Gastronomos

Interesting, you show some fab pics of eggs, on another thread, and then this sorry excuse for seafood!

                  1. re: treb

YES! those egg pics are pulled from the internet. I guess I could take pics of my own home cooked eggs. the eggs served at the diners around here look worse than that salmon... :-(

              2. re: Gastronomos

I can't imagine the smell it must have had as well.....

Diners make tuna melts! In a diner you order omelettes and home fries, patty melts, huge salads with weird stuff ontop like deli meat and sad canned olives, sometimes the pie, but never ever the "seafood specialties" .....

            2. It doesn't even look like salmon.

which is why it is in a plate decorated with pink fish

                  1. re: linguafood

It does look like crispy chicken breast

                2. With no doubt, "farm raised"............

                  1. Please warn, er, tell us which diner?
