Southern Tuscany - am I missing anything?
We are returning to the Montepulciano area the first week of June this year. We were last there in 2010, and that time we stayed 4 nights inside the city of Montepulciano, and 6 nights in an inn outside Pienza (and 4 nights in Umbria). This time we are renting a cottage outside of Montepulciano for a week.
I researched the area again, and found some ones we hadn't been to before to try. I didn't want to pick all of the same places as our last trip, but some were so excellent, that I really want to go back.
For those familiar with the area, would you recommend me adding anything that is not on this list, or any recent thoughts on the ones below? Thanks so much!
L'Antico Forziere (in Umbria, during day trip there)
Boccon di Vino
Avignonesi (wine tour, tasting and lunch)
Latte di Luna
Osteria Vecchia in Cetona (a big grocery store is near there)
Le Logge del Vignola
Piccola Trattoria Guastini
Osteria La Botte Piena
