I am looking for a restaurant in Chicago (preferably the downtown area) that serves breakfast pizza around 8 AM on weekdays, would anyone have any suggestions on where I can get this or the best place to do so?

  1. Breakfast pizza? Never heard of it. Is this a special kind of pizza, or regular pizza served at an early hour?

I have seen pizzas that are made with whole eggs cracked on top of the pie -

The egg on pizza was a trendy thing a few years back. As for pizza for breakfast, we have observed two kinds of people in the world: those who have cold leftover slices for breakfast, and all the rest.

    2. Breakfast pizzas are thing at Italian bakeries in the Detroit area. It is a "sauce" of scambled eggs with toppings. The eggs are like a custard. It is good both hot and room temperature. No idea where to find one in Chicago.

      1. There is no breakfast pizza like Casey's General Store breakfast pizza, in case that's what you're looking for (see here: http://i.imgur.com/KqzgbwO.jpg)

Whole Foods does breakfast pizza and I think is the only other restaurant I know of that does it early - relatively bland in my opinion, but you can add toppings as you please to add flavor

        1. Wolfgang Puck's at O'Hare has them.
