    1. Fairly traditional... Bistrot Bruno Loubet.

      1. Casse Croute in Bermondsey St. Even better, it as French bistro as you "remember" them and think they ought to be, rather than as they so commonly are these days!

        1. Mon Plaisir's the oldest one ... and looks it.

          1. Racine in Knightsbridge

            1. La Gavroche... owned by Michel Roux. The lunch is a very good bargain.

              2. Racine, I adore it, very down to earth and a wonderful range of dishes, excellent service.

                What about Koffmann's, classic French. Haven't been for while but the lunch set menu is very good value, doesn't feel like second best against à la carte dishes at all.
