Dinner on the South Shore - Nassau

I don't usually look for dinner recs. I just "go with the flow" of whomever I'm with. Their choice. Whatever.
But, I have been asked again to choose a dinner destination that is "not too adventurous" and comfortable for our dining companions.

I have chosen to stay on the south shore of Nassau County as that is close to home for me.

I'm looking at a few places I have not yet been:

Per Un’ Angelo
The Nook
La Strada

Any one got a word on any of these? Any one of these better than the other?

Thanks for your help!

  1. Not on your list, but is Oceanside an area you'd consider?

My son (discerning, and not a kid) is enthusiastic about Lawson Pub.

Try Chadwicks in RVC, you will not be disappointed. Great decor, menu and service. i was pleasantly surprised.

      2. A look into another "not too adventurous" restaurant to fit the bill, Elisa's Ristorante Cafe. Any word on this place? The menu looks tame enough not to ruffle the feathers of my dining companions, and good enough to garner moslty good reviews on yelp. Maybe?
