Moderately priced in West Village (Sheridan Square area)

Anticipating that it might be pouring tomorrow ( Sunday, March 30) we would like to find a reasonably priced good restaurant for dinner at around 6pm within reasonably close proximity to Christopher Street subway stop . We will be attending a concert at Greenwich House on Barrow Street, so would like something in that general vicinity so we can dodge the raindrops with ease, should the forecast be accurate!
We like most kinds of cuisine, but prefer entree prices roughly $15-20 range. Thank you in advance! Chowhounders always give such good advice!

  1. I would try Westville, Murray's Cheese Bar, Hummus Place.

    1. How about Bell Book and Candle? West 10th & Greenwich Ave. Entrees a bit higher than you indicated, but you could put together a nice meal with smaller plates in your price range.

      Here's the dinner menu:

Thanks to both of you --- will consider all of those recs.
(btw Greenwich Ave is the block I grew up on as a child! Very sentimental toward that location!)
Would still appreciate more recommendations, though all so far seem like good possibilities.

We actually ended up at Cafe Espanol, on Carmine St. It is moderately priced, is just a short walk to Greenwich House, and is on, so is discounted. It was just fine for our purposes. It absolutely poured while we were eating, but stopped just before we left the restaurant. So - it all turned out fine. We had thought about Westville, but the location we had been interested in doesn't take reservations. Cafe Espanol is near the Houston St. stop on the subway.
Thanks to all who gave suggestions.
