The child of a family friend passed away unexpectedly and we would like to send food or cookies or something but I live on the West Coast and no nothing about food in the Wilmington area. Can anyone help with some delivery options?

  1. You might try Janssen's supermarket, which has a catering/delivery business. They do prepared foods and also very nice cookies and baked goods. It's not cheap, but they do a nice job.

    1. Thanks so much for the info about Janssen's. We have been in touch with them although it seems that their catering department isn't open on Sundays. Seems like we will go with them since it looks good.

I have used http://www.simonandco.com/?utm_source... and they do a good job and can deliver by car locally in Wilmington.

      2. Thanks for the info about Simon and Co. We ended up using Sweet Somethings. They were nice and helpful. I didn't get any feedback on the cookies that we sent but that's to be expected.

Sweet Somethings is great! They have really delicious cakes, mini cakes, and cookies so I am sure that the gift was well received. I did not know they did delivery so that is why I did not mention them.

        2. I realize this is a little late, but Hope's cookies are great to send, and are always well-received. (And delicious.)

          1. Thanks for the info. I'll keep it in mind for another time.
