      Thanks,thats what I figured.The Grocery used to do a soft shell countdown on their website.All I see is a countdown to asparagus.I like asparagus a lot, but soft shells are sure proof that the is a God in heaven. ;-)

      I was just in Charleston this weekend and no soft-shells are in yet. Given the cold winter (azaleas not yet in full bloom even as the calendar turns to April???), I expect it may take a few more weeks.

        The gal I just spoke to at Crosby's said maybe another week.
