Sunday Brunch around Shoreditch (Or Worth a Stroll)? [London]

  • 2

Unexpected visit to London (oh, boohoo, I know) and a Sunday a.m. free. Suggestions? Would prefer something more than coffee and a muffin, but will pay attention to all offers.

  1. Dishoom off Shoreditch High St serves its Bombay breakfast till noon on Sundays. Or what about 100 Hoxton St: 100 Hoxton Big Breakfast - £7.5
pork belly, spring onion hash, fried eggs, tomato & avocado salsa, mushrooms, toast, jalapeno dressing. Further up the same street, The Ginger Pig has a loyal following. Back in
Hoxton Square, Bill's (a chain) does a decent, well priced traditional brunch. You could check out (online, in advance) The Dead Dolls Club to see if their Hoxton Square popup (The Dolls House) has anything suitable.

Shoreditch is most definitely worth a stroll and Sunday is THE day. Columbia Road Flower market is on (lots of places there for a coffee and muffin, all packed). Brick Lane too and if you are into street food, you will find plenty there. Also in the area are: the Geffreye Museum ( lovely gardens, nice cafe) and Dennis Severs' House. Pop back here after your trip and tell us how you got on!

I have had my eye on Dishoom for morning food for several years but had not realized there was one so close. But the spring onion hash and pork belly looks like it might have my name on it instead.

      A plethora of riches! Thanks!
