Barcelona Tapas in White Plains

I walked by today and saw the menu, which looks very authentic. I believe this was the space that was going to have arepas and other Latin American food. Now it’s full-fledged Spanish. Has anyone been there?

    1. Are you sure it's called Barcelona? That's a chain with locations in CT, and I don't see a WP location listed on their website in White Plains (or anything else named Barcelona when I searched on Google).

      1. There is a blurb about this restaurant in the new Westchester magazine. It states that it is called Barcelona but has no affiliation with the ones in Connecticut.

Well, that's not going to cause any confusion!

        2. It's on Mamaroneck Ave. near Martine. I think it was also a Peruvian restaurant for a while. It's a very narrow long space.

There doesn't seem to be a website--yet. When I searched, all I kept getting was the Greenwich Barcelona.

Next to the salad place? I think the previous incarnation was Milonga Arepas and Tapas.

Yes, exactly. Could Mr. Milonga still be the owner???

It seems like a possibility, since he did tapas at Milonga. I'll have to look at the magazine article and see what it says about that.

          2. AFTER MILOGNA IT WAS A SEAFOOD RESTARUANT "COME SEE ME"
FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS AND IT NOW IT WILL BECOME BARCELONA

              What? I can't hear you! ;)

I'm guessing that negates our theory of Mr. Milonga maintaining ownership.
