Passover chocolate cheese cake crust without using almonds or macrons

Does anyone have a recipe for making a Passover chocolate cheese cake in which the crust does not use macrons or almonds? I thought about crushing chocolate covered matzohs…would that work? or even the Kosher for Passover chocolate chip cookies? I can not use anything with almonds.

My gut feeling is that choc covered matzot may well work - but you always have the option of making the cake WITHOUT a crust - and serving it WITH cookies if you feel it needs some crunch! Bteavon:)

Pecans make a nice crust too. Are you averse to all nuts or just almonds?

But, really, no crust is necessary.

You can make a crust from matzo meal (same proportions as a Graham cracker crumb crust) but, really, why would you? Crust-less cheesecake is luscious.

All kinds of ground nuts do work: hazelnuts, walnuts, pecans.

I was thinking a matzoh meal crust with cinnamon sugar would be lovely.

A relative made cheesecake crust using Passover sponge cake. I personally didn't eat it, but others said it was good
