Maná Escondido in the South End purportedly offers it as a periodic special, but I have never managed to be there when it was available. It's a place I really like otherwise.
I can confirm this - I've recently ordered it directly from the menu, so it may not be a special any more. (I was not able to track down a menu, but the yelp page for this place has a great photo of a Jibarito purchased there).
Correct. It is a menu fixture - a coupla weeks ago, the owner told me it's become the most popular item.
