The Marshal - American (old) with New Flavors

ipsedixit and I briefly touched on this tiny Farm to Hell's Kitchen joint, but I figured it deserves its own thread. Every time I pass by it which is normally around 4, the places is fairly packed. Perhaps not a destination spot, but a solid all around neighborhood American.

Some highlights so fat:
The French loaf - When bread isnt free, you know its good. No exception to the rule here.
The Newfoundland Mussels - Makes you appreciate Mussels again. Huge, decadent, with finger licking sauce you want to dip anything in. Dont think I've had better

Goat cheese and herb stuffed chicken - Tender, Juicy, perfectly blended dark crispy skin

Meatloaf - Just like grandams. That’s after grandma graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute followed by a 2 year stint with the Canadian navy.

Sides - Requires a PHD in sides. A very impressive array of creations from locally sourced ingredients. Sweet potato and kale au gratin was a particular winner.

Burger - Just a great, juicy burger, with the already talked about duck fat chips.

Ice Cream Sundae - Because sometimes you just want to end it with a giant sundae with hot fudge, walnuts, and cherries. Other items on the menu feature ice cream from Je and Jo nearby

10th ave is quickly becoming the new 9th ave. This is just solid good ol' American food. In America. For Americans. (And tourists who want to experience it at its best

  1. Nice report.

    Really enjoy the spot.

Almost wish you hadn't posted and brought even more attention to it ...

Besides, I always feel 10th ave needs help from us. Have you ever seen more than 2 people at Inti?

I'm pretty sure Inti does a healthy take out/delivery business.

Plus, if there were more than 2 people at any one time, the one waiter who works there might be overwhelmed.

Especially since its his/her second day on the job. Its always a new waiter when I'm there
