Does anyone know whether Dannon is doing KLP this year?

  1. Oh I hope so! The brand of Greek yogurt I bought last year was like eating paste

    1. From the O-U Passover "New for 2014" page:

"An important development is that Dannon will again be producing OU-P yogurt in coffee, lemon and vanilla flavors."

There's also Cabot Cheddar for Pesach (not Cholov Yisroel).

I believe the OU Passover Guide 2014 is in error about Cabot, because I contacted Cabot directly. Below is the response (minus the names), cut and pasted from my e-mail. Quite the tease in the OU guide, leading to an unfortunate disappointment for me.

"Thank you for contacting us at Cabot regarding our OU Kosher Cheddar cheese items. While we still are able to produce many Tablet-K certified products, we have no plans at bring back OU Kosher Cheddar. The level of sales for the OU Kosher Cheddar was not high enough to maintain production of this cheese.

We thank you for youra support.

      2. According to the OU Passover guide (came in the mail yesterday), Dannon will have

YOGURT: Coffee, Plain, Plain Low-Fat, Plain Nonfat, Vanilla

        1. There had better be! I bought the date syrup last night!

Seriously, I use plain yogurt in a few things that I would hate to do without.
Sauce for salmon, topping for potatoes, breakfast, substitute for half the mayo in tuna.
