Pasta / non-pizza options at Fireworks Pizza any good?

I'm definitely going to Fireworks Pizza in Arlington because a family member having a special occasion has requested it. My last time there I thought the pizzas seemed pretty good but the seafood pasta I ordered for myself was a disaster. It was mushy and bland and I salvaged the meal by stealing pizza from others at the table.

So was my experience an aberration? Can you get good pasta at Fireworks? What about other non-pizza menu items? We'll be a large group including visitors and I want to steer them in the right direction. Thanks.

  1. Not sure if the seafood pasta dish you mentioned is the pesto shrimp linguine, but if not, you may want to try that. I wouldn't describe it as "bland" - if anything it has a little too much going on- pesto + shrimp + artichokes + chorizo = whew! But honestly, I enjoy it.

In addition, I really like the lamb gnocchi and they have a great burger. Hope that helps!

The pesto shrimp linguine was not what I tried, thanks for the suggestion. I looked at their current menu and didn't see anything that matched my recollection from about a year ago, so maybe they took it off the menu. I appreciate your recommendations.

    2. I've been to the Leesburg location many times and enjoyed a pasta dish they have with ham and peas. I also like the grilled shrimp appetizer.
