Any size of fries at the price of Small?

In Japan, McDonald's is offering any size of french fries for the price of a small. That means the largest size is just 150 yen (About $1.50). Does McDonald's ever do this in the U.S.? Just curious about this...

Any size coffee is just a dollar, and might tasty too, but I've never seen fries.

I think the offer is from March 7 to March 22, 2014.

IN Canada (at least in the Toronto area), McD's has been offering in the summer any size drink for $1 for the last few years.

        3. Any sized fries for the price of a large.

          1. There are several franchisees who are currently offering any size soda/tea/coffee for $1.

Haven't seen a similar fry deal.

            1. I bet the Japanese "large" order of fries is the same size as the USA "small" order.

To me it seems like there isn't that big of a difference. The cardboard sleeves used for fries in Japan come from McD's in the U.S.

and here I thought they only used cardboard as their fries in the US.
