Sauces and Shapes wins IACP Award

Just wanted to congratulate Maureen Fant and Oretta Zanini de Vita for winning a 2014 International Association of Culinary Association (IACP) Food Writing Award in the International category for "Sauces and Shapes: Pasta the Italian Way".

A well deserved honor....

            More mention of "Sauces and Shapes" on Food 52!


            I might be making "sugo con i Broccoli alla Siciliana (Pasta with Broccoli, Olives and Pistachios)" with romanesco cauliflower,but maybe without the pasta.

              Is that 1 1/2 cups pistachios? What do you think about subbing chopped preserved lemons for the olives? I got no olives. I'm going for it! With farfalle.

              Uh oh. Looks like it's ounces, and that equals 1/3 cup.


              Well, I really like pistachios, so it's all good.
