Itinerary Feedback

Heading to NOLA shortly for a long weekend of eating and drinking with the Wife (Saturday AM to Monday PM). We've been once before and had a helluva trip. Looking to make this one just as good, if not better. Would love to hear feedback:

Our current itinerary:
Sat Lunch: Bayona (favorite from our last trip)
Sat Dinner: Coquette
Sun Brunch: Sylvian
Sun Dinner: Three Muses (eat + music)
Mon Breakfast: Stanley
Mon Lunch: Cochon Butcher

Still looking for a spot to have a few oysters in a casual setting (wife doesn't eat seafood).

Also wanting to hit up some of the classic cocktail spots between eats:
-Sazerac @ Roosevelt
-French 75 @ Arnaud's
-Gin Fizz @ Tujagues
-Vieux Carré @ Carousel Bar

For reference, here's our itinerary from a few years ago:
-Cochon
-Carousel Bar
-Pat O'Brien's
-Surrey's Cafe & Juice Bar
-Café Du Monde
-Jacques-Imo's Cafe
-Maple Leaf Bar for Dirty Dozen Brass Band
-Atchafalaya Restaurant
-Bayona
-Green Goddess

  1. Presented in the FWIW Mode . . . take with whatever grains of salt you deem appropriate.

I'd get a Ramos Fizz at the Roosevelt, Sazeracs at Arnaud's French 75 AND at SoBou, and a Vieux Carré at the Carousel Bar.

In terms of food, I haven't been to Sylvain, and so can't comment on that.

But FWIW (Part Deux), here's where we'll be, starting in 48 hours:

    Acme
    Arnaud's French 75
    Bayona
    Café Beignet
    Café du Monde
    Carousel Bar
Cochon (or Cochon Butcher -- haven't decided yet)
    Commander's Palace
    Coquette
    Galatoire's
    Herbsaint
    Patois
    R'evolution
    SoBou
    Stanley

Zin, have a great trip. I am both jealous and tummy-rumbling at the same time. [The only one of yours I do not get is Stanley but everything else looks KILLER!]

Oh, and Sylvain is amazing, OP. Very romantic for dinner, I have not done their brunch.

So envious; I will be there in May but not with my "foodiest" of friends dag-nabbit!

    2. Grab your oysters at Luke's daily HH3-6. Your wife can munch on a cone of their delicious fries. Oh, and their French 75 is very good.

Thanks! For some reason this place wasn't anywhere on my radar. Looks great. Will definitely have to hit the HH.

Lüke should DEFINITELY be on your radar!
