Restaurant Suggestion for Area Near 2nd Ave and 29th St.

Will be at the Paddy Reilly's open mike with 2 other friends on a Sunday afternoon in April and will be looking for someplace to hit for dinner after. This should be around 5 or 6 PM. Would like something casual since after the open mike and a few Guinnesses we'll probably all be pretty mellow. I'll eat almost any cuisine but the other two are a bit picky, no Indian, Ethiopian etc. If a fish place should have other non seafood selections and nothing too spicy BBQ is OK if any in the area. Hope this isn't too restrictive, but I have faith in the experts on this board.
Thanks

You'll be a block away from The Waterfront Ale House, a very good neighborhood restaurant, where you can continue drinking Guinness or switch to something else - they have an extensive selection of beer and whiskey. Lots of variety on the menu, so you and your less adventurous friends should all be able to find something. The fish specials are usually worth ordering, and I am fiercely devoted to their nachos and their smoked salmon plate.
