LF the Best Curry Laksa in GVR

I'm looking for the best Curry Laksa the GVR has to offer! I had a bowl at Tamarind Hill in North Van, and it was good, but no where near its potential.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  1. You're gonna be looking a long time...

    1. Laksa King on Hastings.
I've heard there may have been a change in ownership but I can't comment on wether this had affected the food.
I haven't been in ages but you may also want to try Hawkers Delight.

I'm no laksa fiend, but I find Hawkers Delight's laksa ok. It's not bad, but just doesn't stand out in any particular way (other than its low price).

Coincidentally, I've had a better bowl of (seafood) laksa at Beefy Beefy just a block away (NW corner of King Edward & Main). It was seafood laksa.

Banana Leaf does a decent laksa, as does Penang Delight and Deer Garden Signatures.

I've heard from reliable sources that the new owners at Laksa King are using all of Bo's recipes and doing a good job replicating them. We tried to go a week ago Friday and they were on hols for three weeks to Myanmar, so beware.
