Best Brewpubs in Montreal?

I've read about a number of brewpubs in Montreal and wonder if beer afficionados out there can tell me all about their favorites - quality of the brew, pub food, service, ambience, value, etc. I'm going to Montreal for the first time in one week. Thanks so much!
It's been a long time, but I remember La Cheval Blanc (809 Ontario St E) as being a wonderful deco space with some unique beers. Jackson gives the beers up to three stars (out of 4).
While in Montreal, try to score a pint of the fabulous McAuslan Oatmeal Stout. And Unibroue (in nearby Chambly) has a new beer called Terrible that is supposed to be ... well ... not terrible at all. Both of these are micros, not brewpubs.

I will second the nomination for Le Cheval Blanc. Quite good beer, in fact. And an excellent sound system set-up. The bartenders/brewmeisters act as DJs, as well, with a good selection of tunes (Jamaican/Ska and excellent, cheesy lounge music when we were there). I don't know about their food, though.
The thread "folk music? - Wanda 19:23:59 10/10/02" includes a discussion of pubs, brewpubs and microbrews. Dieu de Ciel gets my vote for best brewpub from a quality-of-brew standpoint. I like the ambiance, too. Plus Le Sergeant-Recruteur is only a couple of blocks away, making a mini pub-crawl easy.
