Slow Cooker Question
I received a slow cooker for Christmas of '13 and have not used it yet. Will it still work?

Assuming you mean 2013 (and not 1913), yes. A slow cooker should last 3 months or even longer.
I got a slow cooker to keep soup warm for an event in 2002. After using it a few times, and re-learning that I'm just not fond of many foods produced in it, it sat in a storage room for oh, about a decade.
When I pulled it out to make apple butter a couple of years ago, it worked fine. How long do you figure most small electric appliances sit unused between manufacture and first use? It can be years.
This is so obvious that it seems as if your question must really be about something else. Can you clarify?
