Unknown origin.

I inherited a "hens bottom" copper bowl. I really have no use for it and would like to sell it. However I have had the hardest time finding who made it. I am attatching a picture of the stamp. It is very heavy and seems to be good quality other than being a bit tarnished. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry the picture is bad quality, the stamp is a chef hat with the word "France" inside.

  1. Hi, lokiish:

    Your pan is a Matfer.

What is a "hen's bottom" bowl?

    1. I agree it is a Matfer. The symbol is that of a chef hat.

      Can I buy it?
