Seeking Wilmington, NC, recommendations

Staying downtown but visiting Wrightsville Beach as well. Seeking fresh, flavorful, innovative, casual, fun breakfast, lunch, and dinner fare. Fresh seafood and full bar a plus. Any cuisine and price range except ultra deluxe. Thanks in advance!

Sealevel City Gourmet is a great spot for lunch between Downtown and WB. Lots of veg and gf options, but it's really tasty nonetheless, lol. Kinda has hippy-dippy Asheville-esque vibe the OP might appreciate.

Haven't been to Wilmington it a while, but I can second the recommendation for Caprice.

      2. Tower 7 is fun Cali-mex in wrightsville, brasserie du Soleil in lumina station just outside of wrightsville, and +1 for cd's recs

        1. There's a brand new place, Canape, that sounds great and might be worth checking out:

Thanks again. Any good cheap sandwich/burger joints?

The only things you need to know about sandwiches in the downtown area are these two champions: (1) Chop's Deli; and (2) The Copper Penny.

                    Followup report, with recommendations...
Best lunch: Copper Penny (Chicken Salad Sandwich, Onion Rings, Smoked Tomato Soup)
Best dinner: Rx (Carolina oysters with jalapeno-lime sorbet, crispy pork belly with 64 degree egg, sticky toffee pudding)
Best cocktails: The Blind Elephant Speakeasy (No. 10 cocktail)
Best tap beer selection: Cape Fear Wine & Beer (Flemish Red Sour Ale, anything by Full Steam Brewing)
Next time: Manna (beautiful space, menu looks really interesting despite cheesy entree names)
Thanks again for the recs, everybody.
