Dinner Before Concert at Rocksino

  • 5

Looking for a place in the area, the concert is on 4/2 a Wed. Familiar with Cleveland, but not too familiar with area around Northfield. Driving south on 271 to get there, so something along the way also an option. Will be dining alone and am looking for a bistro type of place with entrees in the $20 - $35 range. Not interested in chains or just bar food. I'm an adventurous eater and all cuisines are acceptable but would like a place with some healthy options. Eating at the bar would be preferred.
Thanks

  1. I'd recommend Moxie, just off 271 at the Chagrin Blvd exit.

    1. I really can't think of anything in Northfield near the Rocksino.

As barefootgirl suggests, Moxie's may be your best bet.

There are a number of places on Chagrin Blvd on the other side of 271 in Eaton Square, but not sure they work for what you are looking for. Still here's a link:http://www.etonchagrinblvd.com/dining... The B Spot there is Michael Symon's restaurant if that interests you at all, although maybe too casual/bar-like for your wants.

      1. Just down the road is this place:

A bit above "Red checkered tablecloth Italian"
We just ate there tonight. Solid consistent place.

        1. The immediate area is a wasteland.

          1. OK thanks all for the recs. I am well familiar with the Eaton Sq. area but was looking for something different. As one poster mentions Moxie looks spot on for me. I agree with the wasteland comment, which is kind of why I asked for help since nothing came to mind immediately. In any case, I'm off to Moxie. Thanks again.
