Masterchef the Professionals won't be the same. I really enjoyed the section where he demonstrated the classics then asked them to do the same dish. His programme "The Service" was a wonderful bit of tv

I read he'll be doing one more show soon to fulfill his contract. I think it's about Chocolat. I think he'll be missed. Will Monica quit in protest?

Might put her in a difficult position if she doesnt - what with her being an employee of Michel's.

Then again, Monica being on the programme is sort of a publicity tool for La Gavroche. Who knows?

What a shame! He'll probably be replaced by some small fry. At least we can all appreciate how he's chipped in over the years at the BBC, I found all of his shows appealing.

So long as they don't get Torode doing the "Professionals" series, I'll be OK.

Maybe Monica will get the top job? If not, then I'll lay a fiver on Angela Harnett - top chef, media savvy, etc.

I really enjoy seeing him cooking. I have watched everything on youtube.

Ah. See what you mean now - although the pronounciation is different, which is why I didnt understand.

I adore Michel Roux Jr, both for his presenting style and because I have a bit of a crush on him. Not sure I'll be tuning in to the new series without him, even though I like Monica Galleti and Greg Wallace. Shame...
