Tahini, where to buy in Calgary?

I'm wondering where to buy tahini in Calgary? I found it at my local grocer (Bownesian grocer in Bowness, but $6.00 for 250g seems steep. Anyone know where to get larger quantities for cheaper?

  1. Pretty much any grocery store... Safeway, superstore, community natural foods, planet organic. I buy mine at CNF because they sell it with their own brand in raw or toasted (In ~500 ml tubs).

    1. I picked up 454ml container at a Lebanese grocery store in the SE called Green Cedars. I think I paid $5. I know it's probably not that convenient to go to Forest Lawn but I always use it as an excuse to pick up a tub of their of their most wonderful homemade hummus, which always sells out early every day.

      1. I would check Basha Foods or T & T - that place has the strangest stuff for pretty good prices.

        1. Was just at Basha. $10 for 2 lbs.
