Yotsuya anyone?

  • 3

Thinking of branching out from my sushi rut and trying something new. Has anyone been lately? Thanks!

  1. We took the leap last night, and gave Yotsuya a try. Arrived for our 7:30 reservation on time. We were the only 2 in the restaurant from start to finish. Masa seemed to have a cold, but mentioned his allergies were acting up. Oh well....anyways, we entrusted him to our meal. Without counting, probably a dozen or so sushi items. Very straight forward, with no rolls and such. A couple of the fishes were new to me, but quite tasty. In fact all were quite tasty. Damage for the omakase along with 3 medium size bottles of sake shared between the 2 of us was $275 included tip. Would I return, maybe.

For relatively the same style but way better sushi go to Zo.

Thanks Kevin...I've been to many of the top sushi restaurants in our fair city and Zo in West L.A. included. I didn't care of the service or attitude there, but have yet to try his new one in DTLA.
