Headed to Columbus for two days. I am looking for recs for two lunches and one dinner, staying in Easton and will have a car. Need a great lunch spot downtown for one of the days, will be close to Worthington on day two.

I like local restaurants, no chains, budget wide open. Open to all foods except Indian.

Will definitely make a stop at jeni's!

For amazing pastries and coffee and rival any I've had all over the world, go to pistachio Vera in Germantown. Just down the road is katzingers which does have some good sandwiches esp since it doesn't seem like Ohio has much of a deli scene.

2 downtown lunch ideas: Katzinger's Deli (German Village) and North Star Cafe (Short North), which has a truly amazing (even for carnivores) veggie burger. There's also a North Star just south of Worthington in North Clintonville. If you're into coffee, Mission Coffee in the Short North is a place I make a point to go when I'm in town.

The North Market (not on Mondays) has a lot of great options too.

I'll leave dinner recommendations to folks who know the area better (I've been away for a few years.
And Pistacia Vera is a fantastic bakery in German Village, which is definitely worth a trip (just a few blocks from Katzinger's).

        G. Michael's in German Village is great for dinner. The food and service are always top notch.

Worthington Inn is my other favorite. They are open for lunch and dinner and have a locally sourced menu and lots of good choices in an old inn in a very pretty part of old Worthington.
