New Finds in Montreal

Just back from a trip to the jazz festival and have a couple of new experiences to share.
Ming Do at 1050 Clark Street in Chinatown. Dim Sum place that looks touristy but turned out to be quite good. THE place for oysters. Oysters in black bean sauce were my favorite. Quite large.
Restaurant L'etoile de L'ocean at 101 est rue Rachel two blocks off St. Laurant. The best Portuguese food I have yet to have in Montreal. It has a simple website at www.letoiledeocean.com. Service was very friendly. Ask for Silvia Moniz for a waitperson. She is quite delightful.
