Picnic Supplies Along the Oregon Coast?

FishTales Mar 6, 2014 07:48 AM

We'll be visiting the Oregon coast, from Astoria to Bandon, in May. Are there any places to find cheese, bread, smoked salmon, olives, crackers, or oysters, things like that? So far it looks like stocking up in Portland may be the way to go.

Check out the Blue Heron in Tillamook. While in Tillamook, check out the Tillamook creamery as well. They have a nice gift shop.

Ecola Seafood in Cannon Beach. Blue Heron is kind of a tourist trap, but could have some supplies.

Blue Heron is a total tourist trap. But they have some really nice things there. You are just going to pay for them.

As in pay through the nose! I can't take seriously any cheese shop that also offers a petting zoo.

It is a great spot to stop if you have young children and their are also adults in the group who would like something to eat besides McDonald's.
