Food markets?

  • 3

What am I missing? Been to Dornique's Langenstein's, Jacob's and Bailey's in La Place, St. James cheese, Creole Country Sausage, Keife, Martin's Wine, La Boulangerie,

Help appreciated. Got a couple of days in NO.

Gonna try Acquistapaces in Covington on the way in.

  1. I wouldn't drive all the way out there just to stop by, but if you're in the neighborhood, you should stop in at Poche's in Breaux Bridge . . .

    1. Emmett's in Elmwood/Harahan has terrific house made fresh sausage, especially the jalapeño cheddar and (very) hot. Great grilled. Saturdays they usually have tastings.

Vom Fass (corner of Magazine/Nashville) for great selection of balsamic and fruit vinegars and olive oil. Rare Cuts is next door.

Hong Kong Market on the west bank.

      Cochon Butcher.

      1. Cleaver & Co, Wayne Jacobs in Laplace, Hollygrove Market, Crescent City farmers markets, and Restaurant Depot.
