Cow Tongue

What shops in Las Vegas sell quality beef tongue (raw)? I know that Wal-Mart has the Rumba packages. Do any of the Asian markets carry it regularly?

  1. Eat tongue? UGH, it's already been in someone's mouth...

    1. Can not vouch for the quality, but the La Bonita markets (I believe there are five in Las Vegas) often have beef tongue as an advertised special. And Harrie's Bagelmania (544 East Twain) also carries tongue.

I'll check it out. I've never had any that I didn't like!

      2. John Mull's Meat lists it on their products listing.

Thanks. Now I can grab some BBQ too. The Butcher Block in the SW didn't carry any.

        2. I've seen it at the Ranch 99 market on Spring Mountain in the past. I'm not sure if it's always in stock, but they were whole and unpeeled in the case next to the cow tripe and tendons.

It sounds interesting. I've never seen it peeled for me. Thanks.

          2. Yes, you can get them at the asian markets. 168 on Spring Mountain Rd and Jones, SuperStore on SM Rd and Decauter, or Ranch will have it. Can't attest to quality.
