dim sum anyone?

Hi,

I'm going to Montreal soon, and have had a few people tell me to go for dim sum in Chinatown. Unfortunately none of them could think of a place to recommend in particular. If anyone has a recommendation, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks very much,

Adela

Nothing fabulous for Dim Sum, best I've had(and most upscale) was the menu-only dim sum at Chez Chine in the Holiday Inn. Everything was fresh even at the tail end of the lunch hour, unlike that Lotte place.

    Enjoy!

My wife and I were in Montreal last August asking the same question. On a bright note, it seems that there are many restaurant that serve dumplings and noodles from various Asian cuisines, including har gow, shui mai, won ton soup, chow fun; pad thai; etc.

As for dim sum, we would recommend that you avoid Kam Fung. Not very good. We had a much better meal at a restaurant I can't remember, but it's approximately one block east and one block north of Kam Fung and it sits on the corner of a pedestrian walkway.

      Have a great time--we did!
