Queue de Cheval as one of Montreal's best?
Just wondering why this restaurant hasn't yet been mentioned, especially as a place for American out of towners... I think the food is great (and I only eat seafood or chicken, no red meat), but obviously incredibly expensive, unless buying with the Almighty American Dollar. When I read local restaurant reviews, Q is always panned because someone found a minor flaw in what so many people otherwise hold as the best restaurant in the city. What do others think?
I've only been there once, about 2 yrs. ago, but loved every minute of it. The steaks were incredible, but I think the side dishes were even more spectacular. Their onion rings are the best I've tasted. Everything there was great, right down to the martinis. It definitely was expensive, but If my pockets were full, I'd be back in a heartbeat!
