So, I want to cure and smoke some homemade bacon, but does anyone know or has seen any stores in the Boston area that sells Prague powder or pink curing salt?

For some strange reason this topic seems to come up about the same time every year :))

A little searching will work wonders, just in case it isn't covered in the posts have you tried Christina's in cambridge?

Instacure #1 can be found.Cristina's, Bass Pro, maybe even Wallmart.
      Instacure #2, not so much.

I bought pink curing salt at Williams Sonoma. I'm sure you can find it cheaper on line somewhere. But there is a WS near me and I could pick it up that day. http://bit.ly/1fPqmZQ

2nd William Sonoma, you can buy a small jar, and won't use it up on a batch of bacon.

They have everything you could want for curing and fermenting food. Instacure is reasonably priced.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I did some looking around, and I actually found an 8 oz. package of Instacure on eBay for a very reasonable price.
